Party on Dudes!

Hey! So it was a week of family friends and lots of fun!

For labor day, we went shopping at Nordstrom Rack! They had a clear the rack sale so we got a couple things that we needed like shoes and such! We also bought a tent in preparation for our Ward Campout this weekend!!! Then we went to Seuss and Grandpa's for a BBQ and had lots of fun hanging out with the fam!

Tuesday was Tara's Birthday!!! We had fun going to Olive Garden and watching Tara open her birthday presents! YAY for Tara turning 18! We love hanging out with the family!

Wednesday we were completely and totally lazy! :) PURE truth! I totally ended up watching like...4 episodes of my new favorite show, "The Blacklist." AH! It is just SO intense! :) And Christopher played mine craft. In a nut shell...we were lazy and we didn't really have time to be, but we were! We did get around to a little bit of yard work where Moose was pretty hilarious in helping us weed. He attacks the weed tool or the shovel.

Thursday, I worked at my mom's with a fun skirt party! We sold a bunch and we made lots of progress on our Facebook page with selling those awesome things! And my mom and dad were so awesome to pick up some things for us for us at costco! And I ran to Walmart to get a few things that evening! Christopher was so awesome this whole week to help us get ready for our BBQ at our house on Friday!

So, Friday came! I had a meeting with a bunch of high up people in the district that was really important for our school and it went really well! We were recognized by the superintendent for our hard work as a data team and we were able to show off a bunch of things that have to do with our curriculum and the way we compare data and work together! When I got home from work, we worked really hard really fast and Christopher was AMAZING and got all the BBQ pork going during the day at home while I was at work so that it was ready for that night when people came over! :) We had a wonderful time socializing with family a friends and they got to see our new house! We LOVE our house and we loved having all our family and friends over to see it! :) And if you haven't seen our house yet, here is a virtual type tour! :) And we'd love to have our friends and family over another time if you couldn't make it out!

On Friday, Christopher also got Mario Maker! And he is absolutely loving the game and it's fun features of making your own Mario levels!

Saturday we were bumps on logs! At least for the first half of the day! We were so pooped from Thursday and Friday so we took the morning to be a little lazy...maybe watch a few more episodes of Blacklist...ya know!

Then I had Nikki's baby shower, a gal I work with at school. She is such a cute little pregnant mama!! So happy for her! Then I headed over to Seuss' annual Niece and Nephew BBQ! Which, as Kevin pointed out, wasn't really a "BBQ," but I love Jimmy Johns, so I was perfectly okay with that! Played Volleyball and had homemade ice cream! YUM!

Later than night, Tara had her 18th birthday party at my mom's! My uncle James came as a bouncer. He was pretty awesome at making sure kids weren't stupid! And Tara's party was an absolute success! She had so much fun and there were lots of people! Party after party this week!

Then today, my best friend Brie got home from her mission and so she had her mission homecoming talk today! I love their family so much! I can't wait to catch up with her and see how she is doing! We went and hung out at her house after and had some amazing food! As usual, with Lori! She's amazing!

And here's to another busy week! So, busy that I took WAY too long of a nap and I am not super tired. 4 hours....was too long for a nap...I must say.
